LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Tyson Foods donated more than 13,000 pounds of food to help hungry families in Arkansas.
On Tuesday, the Springdale-based company gave 13,534 pounds of food to the Watershed Human Community Development Agency in Little Rock. The Watershed Agency will use the food for its summer feeding program.
Tyson said this donation is significant because the need for food assistance continues to escalate, citing that 1 in 6 Arkansans struggle to provide enough food for their family
