LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - It used to be a functional room where meals were prepared. But, over years kitchens and their purpose have changed dramatically.
Chris Olsen with Today's Home says that he remembers as a kid, his family would entertain company in their living room. Now days, however, he says that's almost non-existent.
Olsen says that most of us make our kitchen much larger these days so that it is an area to "hang out" in.
