Alexander Olivieri faces murder charges in court for Bridgett Frisbie's death

HOUSTON, Texas (CBS) -- Prosecutors are calling it an execution-style murder. a Texas national guardsman accused of gunning down a Katy teenager appeared in court Monday. The victim's father had some strong words for his daughter's accused killer, a young man who after his arraignment remains in jail on half a million dollars bond.

As he walked into court, Alexander Olivieri looked very different. At least in the eyes of the father of the girl he's accused of killing.

Robert Frisbie says, "I'll tell you, a couple of days in jail has wiped that smirk off of his face."

Frisbie remembers the mug shot snapped last week. That half smile has haunted him for days. He says, "My daughter was special. She'd had a tough life, you know? But she just was wonderful."

More than a week ago, Bridgett Frisbie had snuck out of her house just before midnight.. When, prosecutors say, Olivieri led her to the woods in northwest Harris County. By four in the morning she was dead. Police say Olivieri shot her with a 9 millimeter weapon in the back of the head.

So what about the motive? Prosecutors argue Olivieri did it to silence Frisbie, to keep her from telling anyone about a recent drive-by shooting he was involved in. They won't confirm any details about it. But neighbors have told us someone recently shot up the side of a nearby home where Frisbie's ex-boyfriend used to live. Now, Frisbie's father says detectives have told him his daughter might not have been the only one in danger.

Robert says, "They've also mentioned another young man that he was going to take care of at the same time and just through happenstance he didn't take them both."

Robert is a dad, struggling to cope with his daughter's death, and a father, who can't keep himself from the courtroom. Robert says, "Closure is not the word. No, it gave me faith that the system will go forward."
