BENTON, Ark. (Oct. 6, 2012) - The Central Arkansas Scale Modelers (CASM) is a club for people interested in the hobby of modeling.

Members are of all ages, differing skill levels, and different modeling interests who enjoy sharing models that are completed or still on the workbench; learning modeling techniques and growing in modeling skills; desiring to have a good time and fellowship with other modelers; and interested in promoting and exposing the modeling hobby so others can develop an interest.

The group will host their 12th annual Sproo-Doo Model Show today, October 6 at the Arkansas Health Center, located at 6701 Highway 67 in Benton. Registration will run from 8 a.m. to noon. The show is open for free to the public from 8-4.

Members of CASM are working with the North Little Rock School District to share the hobby with young boys and girls and helping teach bi-weekly modeling classes at the Pulaski Technical College South Campus. Club meetings are held the second Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. at Hobbytown USA in Little Rock.
