LUXEMBOURG (CBS) -- The heir to Luxembourg's throne on Saturday (October 20) married a Belgian Countess in a fairy tale wedding which brought thousands of well-wishers onto the streets of the small country.
Royals from across Europe gathered to attend the wedding of the heir to the country's throne, Crown Prince Guillaume to Belgian Countess Stephanie de Lannoy which was held in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Luxembourg.
After the ceremony the newly weds made their way to the Palais Grand-Ducal where they delighted crowds by kissing and waving from the balcony.
The pair were married in a civil ceremony on Friday (October 19), but continued the celebrations at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Luxembourg on Saturday afternoon.
Those attending the church ceremony included royalty from the UK, Holland, Sweden and Monaco.
The festivities were expected to be rounded off with a fireworks display later in the evening.
