LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Nurses from all over the state gathered at the Peabody Hotel to celebrate the 100th year of the Arkansas Nurses Association.

The nurses gathered, heard from Senator Mark Pryor, received a special citation from Mayor Mark Stodala, and congratulatory letters from former President Clinton and Governor Beebe.

A solemn candlelight ceremony was in commemoration of all that nurses have meant to us over the last century.

Friday night's Gala also featured a fashion show with uniforms from the last century.
