BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - According to the Saline County Sheriff's Department, a man accused of stabbing another to death in Bryant is being held without bond.
Police said Itzamanna Jiminez-Jasso, 34, is charged with second degree murder and is in custody at the Saline County Detention Center for the death of Ismael Tagle-Carreon.
According to a press release, officers with the Bryant Police Department investigated a homicide Sunday night at 110 SE 3rd Street around 9:40 after receiving a call about a fight involving a knife.
Police found Tagle-Carreon in the house with multiple stab wounds and unresponsive. Emergency personnel worked to revive the 35-year-old, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Through investigation, officers learned that Tagle-Carreon and Jiminez-Jasso, were arguing. Witnesses said Tagle-Carreon struck Jiminez-Jasso in the face before he has was stabbed.
