BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) - The Department of Human Services Division of Youth Services is actively searching for two youth who left the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center in Saline County.

"Obviously both youth have a juvenile delinquency history," said Spokesperson Amy Webb with DHS.

They are searching for a 16-year-old male and another male, who is 17 years old.

Originally, THV 11 released the 16-year-old's name and photo, per the direction of Dept. of Human Services. However, the dept. requested the name and photo be revoked given the age of the juvenile when the crime was committed.

Bryant police and State police were notified immediately after their escape. An automatic telephone notification also was sent to people living within seven miles of the facility.

If you see either of these two youth, please call local law enforcement. Saline County residents can call Jennifer Benning at (501) 682-9800 to sign up for automated escapee notifications.
