ARKADELPHIA---Henderson State's quest for an upset of the top team in the Great American Conference fell short as Arkansas Tech survived with a 68-62 win over the Lady Reddies, Saturday at the Duke Wells Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

Aungelique Sledge scored a career-high 15 points to lead the Lady Reddies, while Krystal Beachum scored 13 points and Jalisa Benjamin totaled 11 points.

Destiny Smith was tops for Henderson having 12 rebounds while also having 8 points.
Henderson State shot 41 percent from the floor converting on 22-of-54 shots, while Arkansas Tech made 23-of-58 field goals for 40 percent shooting.
