MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ark. (KTHV) - In a story THV 11 News first brought to you in January, investigators said they now know what killed a Mountain View family in a house fire.

The Stone County Sheriff's Department said Jeff and Carol Buerlein, along with their two daughters, died from smoke and soot inhalation.

Back on Jan. 11, a neighbor called in the fire after noticing the flames early that morning.

When authorities arrived on scene, they found the home completely engulfed. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
