PORTLANT, Oregon (KOIN, CNN) - Two girl scout troops in Portland will likely get to go to summer camp -- in spite of a cookie hoax.

The scouts were stuck with 26,000 unsold boxes of cookies after a prankster placed a fraudulent order for 24,000 dollars. A last-minute emergency sale this past weekend had hundreds of people showing up to buy.

The prankster won't be charged, since no money was exchanged.

The remaining 3,000 boxes will go on sale next weekend.
