MULBERRY, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man living near Mulberry after he was allegedly caught with $2 million in stolen heavy equipment and other materials.
Crawford County sheriff's deputies on Wednesday arrested Toby Yancy for possession of equipment that included a backhoe and a bulldozer. Deputies also found semi-trailers with allegedly stolen goods inside.
Fort Smith television station KHBS reports some of the items were stolen nearby. Others were from as far away as Canada.
Deputies also seized more than $4,000 in cash, and tools allegedly used to commit burglary.
Investigators were able to use a tracking device on a piece of stolen equipment that led them to the items.
