LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Eating out while on a diet can be difficult, so 'THV 11 News This Morning Saturday' is bringing in local restaurants to share some of their healthy menu items.

Today we have Scott McGehee and Ben Brainard from Local Lime, one of the hottest new restaurants in Little Rock, located in the Chenal Promenade.

Some of their healthier alternatives include Grilled Chili Shrimp Taco at 165 calories and 6 fat grams and Grilled Salmon at 400 calories and 14 fat grams. You can even substitute the chips and salsa for cucumbers and jicama.

Registered dietitian Kristen Rowe recommends that if you go out to eat at Local Lime or any other Mexican restaurant, always remember these tips:

-Remove chips from the table
-Avoid cheese and sour cream
-Choose corn tortillas over flour tortillas
-Pick grilled menu items over fried
