Harding men's basketball ranked No. 5 in First Central Region rankings

SEARCY, Ark. (HARDING) - The Harding men's basketball team moved into the NABC Division II Coaches Poll for the first time during the 2012-13 season Tuesday. The Bisons are ranked 24th.
Harding was last ranked in the final poll of the 2010-11 season. The Bisons finished that season ranked 11th.
Harding is 16-3 overall and 9-2 in Great American Conference play and will play its next three games on the road, beginning Thursday at Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Okla.
Harding is the only Great American Conference team in the national rankings. There are three other NCAA Division II Central Region teams in the poll. Minnesota State is seventh, Winona State is 17th and Washburn is 21st. Minnesota State and Winona State are members of the Northern Sun Conference, and Washburn is in the MIAA.
