From the time Taylor McGregor was old enough to understand, the depth of passion and pride within the Arkansas Razorback fan-base spoke to her heart. Her father was an Associate Athletic Director at the University of Arkansas, and he almost missed her delivery because he was keeping tabs on Nolan Richardson and his dominate, early 90s Hogs.Taylor and her family moved to Denver, Colo. when she was 2-years-old, and that is where she spent the rest of her childhood.
Upon graduating from high school, the University of Arkansas and its Hog fans brought her back to northwest Arkansas. During her tenure in Fayetteville, she accumulated thousands of hours covering the Razorbacks in several different capacities. From serving as a student assistant for Razorvision, to anchoring sports at UATV, to doing feature stories on athletes, covering the Hogs was the junk food she couldn’t get enough of.
Her zeal to pursue sports broadcast television extended far beyond the Natural State. While in college, she spent her summer breaks working as a social media reporter for ROOT Sports Pittsburgh, interning for ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain and learning remote operations with the MLB Network. Taylor was able to be a part of many exciting events during this time, such as Derek Jeter’s final season with the Yankees, the Pittsburgh Penguins’ run in the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Pittsburgh Pirates’ first winning season since 1992.
She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2015. Soon after, she joined the NBC affiliate in Casper, Wyo. as Sports Director. Following a two-year stint in the Cowboy State, Taylor joined THV11 Sports in June of 2017.
Sports and an active lifestyle define Taylor McGregor outside of her career, too. She spends much of her free time training for triathlons and marathons as well as hiking, golfing and generally doing any activity that involves being outdoors.
