Boil order lifted for city of Lonoke, classes to resume Wednesday

UPDATE: According to Lonoke schools, the water department stated that the boil order has now been lifted and classes will resume at normal time on Wednesday, January 24. 

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Students in Lonoke will have another day off from school on Tuesday due to a burst pipe, according to Student Support Services Administrator Marc Sherrell.

Lonoke is still under a boil order, as well.

The Lonoke City Water department said they suffered a severe water main break on Thursday, Jan 18. 

Classes are still out as of  Tuesday, Jan. 23.
