LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Christmas is just around the corner but Hanukkah is even closer, kicking off next Tuesday, December 12. In celebration, Lubavitch of Arkansas is hosting its annual Hanukkah festival in Little Rock.
The Jewish holiday consists of 8 days of light, prayer and food.
"What the Greeks didn't want us to do, that is what we're doing now. And that's why we light the Menorah for 8 days. That's why we eat oily stuff like the latkes and the donuts fried in oil," said Yosef Kramer, Program Director of the Lubavitch of Arkansas.
The celebration lasts through Wednesday, December 20. View the image below for a full list of festivities.
