LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police officers are investigating a homicide after a woman's body was found in a car involved in an accident at the intersection of Geyer Springs Road and Nova Lane.
Police say that around 3:45 p.m. officers found the woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds after they responded to a shooting on Keats Drive and Dreher Lane.
No suspects have been reported by officials at this time.
Little Rock police are also investigating a second homicide that took place about five hours later on Republic Lane, where officers found 18-year-old Xavier Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound.
He later died at the hospital.

There have been 57 homicides in Little Rock this year.
