Police investigating homicide at Hot Springs McDonald's

After investigating, they found the man's name was Marlon Dupree Sanders; he was driven to NPMC in a private vehicle shortly after being shot at the McDonald's.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - An 18-year-old was shot in the parking lot of the McDonald's located at 200 E. Grand Avenue on March 7.

At approximately 10:48 p.m. on March 7, officers with the Hot Springs Police Department responded to a report of a shooting victim who had been brought to the National Park Medical Center (NPMC).

After investigating, they found the man's name was Marlon Dupree Sanders; he was driven to NPMC in a private vehicle shortly after being shot at the McDonald's.

Sanders received treatment at NPMC, but died of his injuries on March 8 at approximately 11:00 a.m.

The case is being treated as a homicide and remains under investigation.
