Reward increased to $10K in murder case of Pulaski Co. mother

Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of those responsible for the murder of April Harris.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance as detectives work to identify the person who shot a 30-year-old North Little Rock woman and her 5-year-old daughter.

On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers increased the reward to $10,000.

The shooting happened at about 6:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19. April Harris and her four children were walking to their car in the parking lot of the Fairfax Crossings Apartments.

Harris was warming up her car, which she does every morning when a suspect approached her and her four children wearing a ski mask. The subject shot her and her five-year-old girl and took off. The other children were able to get away. Harris died at the hospital from her injuries.
