LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A two-year-old is dead after an overnight shooting in Little Rock.
It happened on the 2000 block of Harrison Street on Tuesday evening, and police were dispatched to UAMS around 8:34 p.m.
Officer Richard Hilgeman with the LRPD said that several people were riding in a car when shots were fired.
The child later died at the hospital.
Officers say they found multiple bullet casings in a six-block area around the scene. The people who were in the car are being interviewed, but police have no information on a suspect right now.
This is the second murder within 24 hours in Little Rock. Earlier Tuesday afternoon, a man was killed at the 200 block of North Taylor Street.
