LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A second suspect has been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured a seven-year-old on June 27.
Nykian Raines. 20, of Little Rock was taken into custody Tuesday on warrants of first degree battery, a terroristic act and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He is being held with no bond in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
According to police, the child was playing in the front yard of a home at the corner of 12th and Washington streets when he was shot in the arm. They believe the intended target may have been on the hill just beyond where he was shot.
On Friday, 21-year-old Dagon Coleman of Little Rock was arrested and charged with first degree battery, a terroristic act and unlawful discharge of a firearm from a vehicle.
Police are still searching for a third suspect, 18-year-old Cavorontre Green. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on his whereabouts, you are asked to contact police.
