LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Raising money for children in state foster care is the goal of two 8-year-olds.

Ross Martin and Addison Norman held their first lemonade stand Wednesday at Capitol Bistro. The purpose is to raise money for "walk for the waiting", children waiting to be adopted out of foster care.

The 2nd graders are doing this for the second year in a row. Last year they made $5,800. This year their goal is $10,000.

Their next stand is this Saturday, April 8, from 10 to 12 at The First Baptist Church. Then again on Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
