LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - An American Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at Clinton National Airport.
Spokesperson for American Airlines, Alexis Aran Coello, said the flight was diverted after an odor was reported in the cabin. American Airlines flight 1134 left from Nashville International Airport en-route to Los Angeles International Airport before being diverted to Little Rock.
The flight landed safely at Clinton National Airport at 5:17 p.m. It is expected to leave the airport around 9:20 p.m.
Actors Jamie Bell and Kate Mara were both on the flight and took to Twitter during the delay to tweet at American Airlines voicing their disapproval.
It might be rigged. We were just "emergency diverted" here pic.twitter.com/4OBBgMWdup— Jamie Bell (@1jamiebell) October 22, 2016
Hey @AmericanAir— Kate Mara (@katemara) October 23, 2016
Flight 1134 was unacceptable.
A disgraceful, pathetic way to treat the families traveling with infants and elderly.
American Airlines responded to both actors asking them to send them a private message so they could rectify the issue.
