LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Republican plans to overhaul health care and health insurance will need to be refined if they want to win support from our Republican governor.
Asa Hutchinson spoke last night at an event in Little Rock. He called the current proposal to replace the Affordable Care Act quote "Inadequate", but he wants Congress to keep moving forward with the plan.
The Governor said he thinks the Senate will address the concerns that some in the GOP have with the proposal. Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton also insisted on changes in order to win his support.
Governor Hutchinson is among more than a dozen republican governors whose states expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.
