LITTLE ROCK, AR — Local Arkansan Miriam Bernard made a second appearance on "The Price is Right." The episode will air at 10 a.m. Dec. 4 on THV11.

Nineteen years ago Little Rock hairstylist Miriam Bernard traveled to Los Angeles to help out a friend. While there she decided to visit The Price is Right.

“We got there. We didn't have tickets,” said Bernard. “We got in line and we were sitting and talking to different people and I said, ‘hey we don't have tickets and we're from Little Rock, Arkansas. Do you know anybody that has extra tickets?’”

A woman in front of her had extra tickets and gave them to Bernard. While there, her name was called to be a contestant.

“I stayed in contestants row the entire time,” said Bernard.

She even got called out by Bob Barker.

“I had a few minutes of fame because Bob said, ‘wait a minute guys did you see this? Never in the history of Price is Right have we had one contestant attack another one and Miriam just pinched him.’ So that was my fame and glory,” Bernard said. Another contestant had outbid her by a dollar.

Now, 19 years later, she is at it again.

“I didn't tell anyone. I didn't even tell my mom and kids until I got on the plane,” Bernard said.

She hoped to redeem herself.

“Again, I was the second contestant that they called,” Bernard said, but this time she said, “I made it on the show!”

Bernard plans to re-appear on the show again in 10 years.
