LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Boys State Delegates took a trip to the Clinton Center today to hear from Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin, capping off a week of education in civics.

The program is designed for young men who will be seniors in high school next year, to teach them about government through mock scenarios.

With the week coming to an end, one camper said he's made memories and friends that he's sad to leave.

"I've met a lot of interesting people here. I've met a lot of good friends, people that I'd really like to keep in contact with later in life. I think more of the people are just upset. Not because we're leaving the program, but because we're leaving each other,” said Jaylan Harris, a Boys State Delegate.

They're in good company, too. You'll recognize the names of some of these famous Boys State participants: Bill Clinton, Michael Jordan, Neil Armstrong and Tom Brokaw.
