LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The recent cold is impacting several businesses, including a Little Rock movie theater.

The Regal Cinemas theater located at Breckenridge temporarily closed its doors today after two pipes burst. Water flooded the lobbies and had to be swept out by the fire department.

As the firemen swept the water out of the building, the water froze the sidewalks and the surrounding parking lot within minutes.

Tons of moviegoers were turned away and compensated with vouchers.

"They just said, 'Hey, here's two vouchers because we're not open today,'" one couple said. "They said we can come back anytime."

The Little Rock Fire Department said they dealt with 10 cases on Jan. 17 regarding burst pipes.
