LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- An Arkansas camp that's been around for decades kicked off its summer season Sunday.
More than 350 campers with special needs will attend one of Camp Aldersgate's seven summer camp sessions. The camp that kicked off Sunday is for campers with muscular dystrophy.
Since the 1970s, Camp Aldersgate's summer camp programs have served kids children with special needs, exposing them to outdoor activities and the world of camping. Throughout the rest of the summer, Camp Aldersgate will hold camps for kids with diabetes, cancer and spina bifada.
