LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A party at Burns Park Sunday evening was perfect for fans of football, good food, and giving back.

The first ever Catfish Road Festival brought dozens of people out Sunday for live music, craft beer, and family-friendly activities. All of the money raised at today's event benefits One Heart Park, the new, all-inclusive playground in Burns Park, built for kids of all abilities.

But why catfish, you ask?

"We're on Catfish Road here in Burns Park, so we thought of the idea of having a catfish festival, so all of our foot trucks out here are doing catfish today," said Jamie Pettit, Program Coordinator.

Members of the mayor's youth council were on to hand help, and they brought in the NFL game day trailer so fans wouldn't have to miss their favorite team's game.
