NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 10, 2016) – Hideaway Pizza will open its first restaurant outside of Oklahoma at 11 a.m. Monday at 5103 N. Warden Rd. in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

The pizzeria will donate 25 percent of carryout sales at the new restaurant during opening week, Monday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 16, to the North Little Rock public school district as unrestricted funds.

Hideaway Pizza is a regional, privately owned chain of pizzerias headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma with 16 restaurant locations in Oklahoma. The 6,700-square-foot North Little Rock restaurant, constructed by Ready Construction Services, will be the company’s 17th. Another restaurant is planned to open in Conway, Arkansas in Spring 2017.

Hideaway Pizza offers a rotating menu of 26 specialty and seasonal pizzas and a full bar with 20 beers on tap including craft beer selections from Arkansas breweries Core Brewing Co., Diamond Bear Brewing Co., Lost Forty Brewing and Stone’s Throwing Brewing, and Oklahoma breweries COOP Ale Works and Marshall Brewing Company.

Décor includes the historic icons Hideaway Pizza fans expect, including images of wildly painted Volkswagen Beetles, new and vintage kites, large-scale collage art (including a two-sided custom collage featuring Arkansas Razorbacks sports heroes and images of the local natural environment) and the board game Pente. There will be seating for 186.

Hideaway Pizza was one of Oklahoma’s first pizzerias, founded in 1957 in Stillwater, Oklahoma by Richard “The Big Kahuna” Dermer and his wife, Marti. The company employs approximately 1,000 and was recently recognized by The Daily Meal as #6 on its list of “America’s 35 Favorite Pizza Chains 2016”.
