LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The brother of a Little Rock shooting victim has been arrested for his murder.
Around 10 p.m. on Monday, officers with the Little Rock Police Department were dispatched to the 4300 block of Bruno Road regarding a shooting that had just occurred.
Police spoke with a witness who stated that her father had shot her uncle inside the residence.
Officers entered the home and located a male victim, later identified as 38-year-old Kendrick Gardner, lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, officers located Gardner’s brother, 34-year-old Alonzo Pride walking on Baseline Road and took him into custody.
Pride was charged with first degree murder, possession of a firearm by certain persons and possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center with no bond.
