LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) --Central Arkansas Pride, a nonprofit Little Rock-based initiative, is hosting the 5th annual Little Rock Pride Fest thanks to the sponsoring of 30 companies.

Little Rock Pride Fest is a celebration of diversity amongst the community that aims to bring together families and friends to create a stronger LGBTQIA community in central Arkansas.

The Little Rock Pride Fest will be held October 28 at Riverfront Park starting at 1 p.m. and ending around 8:30 p.m.

The parade will kick off at President Clinton Avenue and end on 3rd Street. The festival will feature local drag entertainers and artists as well as Steve Grand and Kari Faux.

During the festival, there will be various activities for people to attend such as Pride Talks, a dance party, and a dog show featuring animals from Rock City Rescue.

There will also be a Kid Zone with activities like face painting, a bounce house and an obstacle course.

The cost of attendance is free for everyone. Donations of $5 are welcomed at the gate to help support their mission.
