LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. (October 30, 2017) -- An Airman assigned to the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron here was found deceased on October 26 in Lawrence County.

Senior Airman Michael D. Lusk served as an Aircrew and Maintenance Debrief Specialist for the 19th AMXS.

His responsibilities included recording aircraft flying hours, accuracy of maintenance historical data and debriefing aircrew to process critical aircraft flight data.

"We are extremely saddened by the loss of such a valued member of our team. Michael will be missed by all those who knew him," said Col. Gerald Donohue, 19 Airlift Wing commander. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in this difficult time."

The cause of death is still under investigation.
