LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Little Rock Police Department confirmed the man who committed suicide on Chicot Road last week is responsible for the murder of a mother, her daughter, and an unidentified juvenile.

35-year-old Armando S. Castillo was identified as the man responsible in three murders last week.

Last week, the Saline County Sheriff announced an "apparent" connection between the murders of 32-year-old Amanda Murillo, her 15-year-old daughter, an unidentified juvenile.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an address in the 7000 block of Myrtle Drive, Mabelvale after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, a male was found unresponsive in the driveway of that residence. The victim was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter.

Murillo and her were found by Little Rock police in a blue Ford Explorer. According to the police report, the vehicle, which was parked between two abandoned trailer homes, was covered in blood, and both victims suffered gunshot wounds.

Little Rock police found Castillo sitting in a lawn chair on the front porch of a home in the same mobile park on Chicot Road with a gunshot injury to his chest. According to the police report a neighbor was checking on the home for the owner who was out of town when his body was first located. Police found a chrome handgun under Castillo's legs.

Authorities linked the four deaths from preliminary results to the gun found underneath Castillo. However, it will be a few weeks before a written report with positive confirmation is released.

The SCSO has been working closely with the Little Rock Police Department.
