NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – According to North Little Rock police, a man was shot in the chest on Monday night.
Around 10:30 p.m., a North Little Rock police officer was conducting a traffic stop in the area of 4400 Pike when he heard a single gunshot in the area. Seconds later, he saw a man running toward him yelling for help.
The victim told the officer that he had been shot. The man had blood on his shirt and face and appeared that he had a gunshot wound to his chest.
He stated that the shooting had occurred on the 4400 block of Schaer Street. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
