ORIGINAL: Local authorities in Oklahoma are joining forces with the FBI and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a possible crime scene in Spiro.

According to CBS affiliate KFSM, LeFlore County Sheriff Rob Seal said a tip was received Monday morning about a property on Northwest 9th Street in Spiro.

This is the same location police searched in 2010 in connection to the disappearance of Morgan Nick. The 6-year-old from Alma was reported missing and abducted in 1995.

In 2010, authorities searched the property for any DNA evidence and spoke with a man living on the property at the time. No evidence was found at that time.

Investigators said that there is a well on the property that is the center of the investigation. They have only been able to get less than a foot into the ground because they are going through everything with a fine tooth comb.

The FBI told KFSM that they couldn't make a comment on the investigation.

Morgan's mother Colleen Nick said her family was "deeply grateful" for the continued efforts in her missing child's case.

Several law enforcement vehicles are at the scene.
