Missing Little Rock woman & son safely located

UPDATE: Little Rock police said they have safely located Kathleen Baxter and her son.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — A 44-year-old Little Rock woman has not been heard from since she sent a text on March 9 saying that she and her son were staying with a friend in the Pleasant Forest area.

According to the Little Rock Police Department, Kathleen Baxter has her juvenile son Morgan Nicholas with her. She texted her family on March 9 to say the two were staying with a friend named "Fawn" in the Pleasant Forest area. She did not give an address.

Baxter is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She drives a white 2004 Ford Taurus with an unknown license plate number.
