FORREST CITY, Ark. (AP) - Police say a man is in custody in the fatal shooting of a woman and her two children in eastern Arkansas.

Forrest City Police Lt. Eric Varner says that 30-year-old Cordale Stacy who was wanted in the fatal shootings surrendered to police Thursday and is jailed pending formal charges.

Varner says Stacy is suspected in the Wednesday night shooting deaths of 38-year-old Nashae Williams, nine-year-old Malayya Williams Issah and six-year-old Zanashia Williams.

Varner says the victims were found in their apartment by officers investigating reports of gunfire and that each victim had been shot several times.
