LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Midtown Billiards, a popular Little Rock bar in the SoMa district, is set to re-open after being damaged during a fire in September 2016.
A failing refrigerator was determined to be the cause of the fire. While no one was injured, the bar has been closed since the disastrous fire.
The community rallied around the downtown drinking hole, raising funds to help the remodeling of the dive bar.
But after nine months of hard work and rebuilding, the bar is finally set to open and re-join the ever growing SoMa district.
Midtown is scheduled to host a grand re-opening on Friday, June 30.
