LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 7, 2017) – On Tuesday, Our House, a local resource center celebrated their 30th anniversary.
New Our House Executive Director Ben Goodwin hosted a lunch event and ceremony to honor the community leaders, supporters and clients who have built Our House into the high-impact nonprofit organization it is today.
The event honors the people and institutions that have helped Our House grow into a high-performing organization that serves 1,600 homeless and near-homeless adults and children each year and has gained national recognition as a model program.
“Literally thousands of people have invested their hearts and their hard work over the past three decades to grow Our House into the vital community institution it is today,” said Ben Goodwin, “and I am honored to get the chance to say a collective thank you to this community that has been so supportive of our work.
“Our House has changed thousands of lives for the better, my own included, and it is my great privilege to lead the organization into its next 30 years.”
