NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A woman is safe after she was "possibly forced" into a white Jeep.

Originally, the North Little Rock Police Department asked for the public's help in locating the Jeep after the incident at McCain Mall.

According to police, officers were called to the mall on Monday afternoon to investigate "suspicious circumstances." Witnesses say that a white woman was "possibly forced" into a white Jeep with a Mississippi license plate (LHK 122).

Police say two white males were inside the front seat while the woman was in the back seat. Sergeant Brian Dedrick said that it could have been a domestic dispute.

Dedrick said a witness followed the Jeep towards Interstate 40 and Protho Junction then towards Jacksonville. It was last seen near the I-40/I-440 area.

Police said they made contact with the people involved around 4:40 p.m. and that they were all safe. They told officers that they had a confrontation at McCain Mall, but they were safe.

Local law enforcement are en route to talk with the people involved in the incident.
