LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Little Rock police are searching for three men who could be responsible for armed robberies that took place within 30 minutes of each other in the Heights and Hillcrest areas of the city.

Tuesday around 9:30 p.m., three women were reportedly robbed of their purses and wallets at gunpoint in the Polk Street Kroger parking lot in the Heights. They reported that three men left the scene in a black SUV heading west on Cantrell Road.

"Usually this [crime normally happens] in the middle of the night, not during what is still a busy time in a busy neighborhood," said Jeremy Bragg, owner of River City Coffee.

Around 10 p.m., two people are said to have been sitting outside of River City Coffee on the 2900 block of Kavanaugh when they were approached by three suspects in a black SUV and also robbed at gunpoint.

One of the men was described as wearing a black hoodie and black basketball shorts.

A third armed robbery was reported nearby. Police are not releasing a location at this time.

Little Rock Police say they have a strong lead on the case. If you have any information about these crimes, you are asked to contact police.
