LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Registration is now open for the Big Dam Bridge 100 Cycling Tour.

The Big Dam Bridge 100 is an annual event that celebrates the "Big Dam Bridge" over the Arkansas River.

The 4,226-foot bridge is the longest bridge built for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in North America, and connects over 15 miles of scenic riverside trails between Little Rock and North Little Rock.

This year’s ride is set for Saturday, September 23. You can get early bird sign-up rates until March 15. The tour offers several routes ranging between 10 and 100 miles.

New this year, event fee protection insurance will be an optional item that you can purchase during online registration. If for listed reasons within the insurance policy you are unable to attend the event, you will be able to submit a claim to the insurance group and request a refund of your entry fee.
