Second arrest made in Power Ultra Lounge shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Little Rock police have made a second arrest in the Power Ultra Lounge shooting.

Wednesday afternoon, Captain Russell King with the Little Rock Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit said they believe that 19-year-old Tyler Jackson was the initial shooter at the club. Jackson has been charged with three counts of battery in the second degree and six counts of aggravated assault.

Jackson allegedly fired nine rounds and hit three known people.

Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola said this is another step in the right direction to close the case and he is very proud of the Little Rock Police Department.

Jackson is believed to be affiliated with a gang, but police couldn't release any more details other than that. This is also not the first time he has been arrested.

On Thursday, a judge ordered Jackson to be held on a $500,000 bond. He is currently being held at the Pulaski County Detention Center.
