LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- In Little Rock, the Arkansas United Community Coalition and Indivisible Little Rock hosted a march to the Arkansas State Capitol on Saturday.
The Stand By Dreamers March started at Central High School and ended up at the Little Rock Nine Monument. Marchers called for a permanent solution to DACA.
Vicario Hale attended Saturday’s march with his girlfriend and her friends who are Dreamers. He said it was inspiring to see so many people come out for the event.
Saturday’s march comes as the fate of 800 thousand young immigrants hangs in the balance. Earlier this week President Trump told the country that Washington is working on a plan for DACA recipients.
