LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) — Alexis Reed was on the run for more than four months before she was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky on a first degree murder warrant out of Pine Bluff.
She is the suspect in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Jerry Pryor on Aug. 9, 2017. A police report revealed that multiple witnesses identified her as the shooter and that she was seen running from the parking lot of the Merrill Community Center, the scene of the crime.
The two were involved in an argument before the shooting, but the nature of the argument is unknown.
Detectives at the Pine Bluff Police Department said Reed is awaiting extradition. She was arrested on the warrant alone.
