BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) -- Wal-Mart is set to lay off hundreds of workers.

According to reports by the Wall Street Journal, the cuts will most likely affect workers at Wal-Mart's headquarters. The Wall Street Journal also said that Wal-Mart will be shifting its focus to e-commerce.

Many of the cuts are in the human resource department. Back in September, Wal-Mart announced it was cutting 7,000 office jobs to cut costs.

Fortune reports most of the cuts are expected before the end of the month.
