An injured eagle is heading to rehab after two wildlife officers with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission helped capture the bird.

In a Facebook post, the AGFC said the wildlife officers had an "extended foot pursuit" to catch the injured eagle in Monroe County.

It's believed that the eagle was injured after it was possibly hit by a vehicle.

Now the eagle's path will take it to a rehab center where it can heal and rest. After that, the eagle will released back into the wild.
