MARION CO., Ark. (KTHV) - A 35-year-old Summit man was arrested after a woman reported waking up in her bedroom to find Brandon Jenkins standing next to her bed, staring at her.
Jenkins was arrested on charges of felony burglary and misdemeanor charges of stalking and harassment. He was taken to the Marion County jail and held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
The victim told Marion County deputies that on a previous occasion, Jenkins made a sexual comment towards her while she was out riding a bicycle. The victim reported the remarks were heard by her 10-year-old daughter.
Jenkins also allegedly made sexual comments regarding the victim to the victim's husband, according to an affidavit. The Summit couple have found bullet holes inside their residence and told deputies they believe Jenkins is responsible.
The victim found a chair next to the family's fence and told deputies she believes Jenkins used the chair to get inside the family's home on other occasions.
The woman now locks all three doors to the home and told deputies she fears being in the home when her husband is not present. She told deputies she fears what Jenkins might intend to do to her, according to the affidavit.
When setting Jenkins' $5,000 bond, Circuit Court Judge Gordon Webb made it a condition of the bond that Jenkins have no contact with the alleged victim and that he stay off their property.
